Michael D. Eisenberg MS, JD

Mr. Eisenberg is a U.S. Patent & Trademark Office licensed patent attorney and specialist in intellectual property law. He represents clients in industries in the mechanical and electrical arts, including medical device, software, business methods and e-commerce. Mr. Eisenberg consults with clients in building their IP porfolios, developing and implementing IP stategies in the US and internationally.
Mr. Eisenberg holds a law degree from the UCLA School of Law, a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Physics from the UCLA School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from UCLA. While pursuing his graduate and professional studies, Mr. Eisenberg served as an instructor at UCLA for undergraduate courses in the physics department. His graduate work focused on medical radiation devices such as medical accelerators and medical imaging, and studies in radiation biology.
Following completion of his legal education, Mr. Eisenberg was an associate in an intellectual property specialty law firm, and at a general practice international law firm. Mr. Eisenberg is registered to practice in patent cases in all 50 states and territories of the United States and is a member of the State Bar of California.

Mr. Filiba is an IP specialist in intellectual property law. Mr. Filiba has worked as a patent writer since 2007, and was trained in both of the top two IP law firms in Israel. His fields of expertise includes drafting patent applications, prosecuting patent applications internationally (US, Europe, China, Japan, Russia, and Israel), performing patentability and freedom to operate studies, and advising clients on building their IP strategy.
Mr. Filiba’s patent work includes work in the fields of physics, mechanics, optics, electronics, MEMS, accelerometers, gyroscopes, medical devices (for treatment and/or diagnosis), imaging, image processing, computer programs, household appliances. Mr. Filiba’s clientele has included single inventors, small and medium-sized companies, governmental bodies, and large international corporations.
Mr. Filiba holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from UCLA, with Summa Cum Laude departmental and college honors. Mr. Filiba worked as a tutor and teachering assistant at UCLA and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) for undergraduate courses in the physics, mathematics, and engineering. Mr. Filiba was a research assistant on the NASA-funded Lightcraft’s Ion Mobility Endoatmospheric Drive (IMED) project, and wrote two Research Papers presented at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Conferences in 2001 and 2002.
